Two of Doncaster’s Colleges Team up to offer the Ultimate Sport Education Programmes

Club Doncaster Sports College and Doncaster College and University Centre have announced plans to formally enter into collaboration, creating the ultimate learning environment for students looking for a career in sport. 


The partnership will enable students from Doncaster to study qualifications in sport across both Doncaster College Hub Campus and the Keepmoat Stadium at Club Doncaster Sports Park. Students will have the opportunity to study BTECs, HNDs and Degrees in high-quality educational and professional sporting facilities as well being able to have full access to the support services provided by both Colleges.

Club Doncaster Sports College is celebrating its ten-year anniversary this year and the relationship with Doncaster College and University Centre will launch the next chapter for one of the English Football League’s (EFL) leading educational providers. 

Kathryn Brentnall, Acting Principal Doncaster College, said: “We are proud and excited to be working in partnership with Club Doncaster and to announce our formal collaboration.

"Together we will be able to enhance our existing offers of high-quality learning opportunities for students wishing to pursue a career in sport all the way through from level two to full honours degrees.

“There are real synergies between our respective values and ambitions for education in Doncaster and this cements a relationship that also aligns with the borough objectives of anchor institutions working in partnership.

“With delivery at both the Hub and the Keepmoat stadium students will have the opportunity to participate in practical and classroom based learning in exciting environments supported by the shared expertise of our highly qualified staff.”
