Rovers winger Jon Taylor surprises Club Doncaster Titans players with virtual player visit

Doncaster Rovers winger Jon Taylor surprised a group of Club Doncaster Titans players when he joined them for a virtual player visit in the Legends Club at the Keepmoat Stadium last Thursday. 

Taylor, who’s made a fantastic start to the 2020/21 season, chatted to the youngsters about all things Rovers, his experience in football and his life as a professional athlete. 

“There was a lot of excitement when the players and coaches of Titans found out that Jon Taylor would be joining us, and being able to give them this opportunity in a safe, socially distanced way means a lot to us and it was fantastic for all involved,” explained Titans founder Darren Warner.

“Jon was brilliant on the call, really taking the time to chat to us about his life as a footballer and letting the kids ask him lots of questions. 

“We’d like to thank Jon for getting involved and we wish him the very best for the 2020/21 season.” 

Club Doncaster Titans was founded in 2014 by current chairman and manager Darren Warner, and now accommodates any player with a disability or mental health condition in the Doncaster area.
