Restart Signs and Graphics renew their support as partners of Club Doncaster Foundation

Doncaster based signwriting, printing and embroidery specialists Restart Signs and Graphics have renewed their partner support for the Foundation for another year.  

As well as supporting the Foundation with our printing requirements, Restart Signs and Graphics have also provided us with a supply of PPE that’s enabled us to continue our delivery through much of 2020. 

 

Karl Bowdrey, Restart Signs and Graphics director, said: “We partnered with the Foundation because we simply love what they do, and how they do it. We’ve taken part in the programmes that they offer, and the help and boost that it provides to people is something we just love being able to support. 

“Being a family run business, we love being able to support the local community and what a better way than to be able to work with a fantastic charity who provide so much happiness and goodness to people’s lives.” 

As a Foundation we work with a number of partners and organisations who offer vital support across our programmes that last year engaged with over 6000 people.  

John Davis, CEO of the Foundation, said: “During this unprecedented time, it is absolutely vital that we retain the support of organisations that can help us to support our community. We’re proud to continue our work with Restart Signs, improving lives across Doncaster. 

“They’ve been influential in supporting us to keep people safe while they returned to provision in the summer, while also starting our education offer. We look forward to working with them again and developing our relationship” 

Throughout the Coronavirus pandemic, the Foundation has had to find new ways to engage members of the Doncaster community who could no longer benefit from face-to-face delivery. 

What we experienced was a shift to more digital delivery, allowing us to engage people online in a safe and interactive manner. You can gain an insight into how we continued to support our community through this video: 

This work allowed us to develop an offer that allows Doncaster residents to access content such as education, exercise and wellbeing tutorials, while being able to communicate with like-minded people to help alleviate feelings of social isolation which increased during the pandemic.  

Our team have worked tirelessly to facilitate the digital transformation and we will continue to support our community throughout this time.
