Outwood Academy Adwick thrive in girls football week

Outwood Academy Adwick girls pulled on the Doncaster Rovers strip this week as they took part in EFL Futsal Cup U15 girls Regional Finals. 

The side were competing for the chance to represent Rovers at the National finals, and only just missed out on the semi finals.

There was a fantastic team ethic throughout the whole tournament from all teams, which was a great representation of girls’ football week.

Women and girls coordinator, Heather King commented:

“It was a fantastic trip for the girls and their attitude off and on the pitch was great throughout. A shoutout has to go to our ‘keeper, who managed to score a goal from her own area!”
