Job Vacancy - Youth Engagement Manager

We are excited to be recruiting for the position of Youth Engagement Manager at the Foundation.

We're looking for a dedicated and innovative individual to join our dynamic and passionate team for a significant opportunity to shape the future delivery of NCS across Doncaster & Selby.

This exciting post will take an active role in the management of our NCS programme with the successful candidate having a key role in overseeing our NCS contract and supporting young people to engage with the programme.

This role offers a great opportunity to develop a wide range of experience across youth engagement provision, whilst also sitting on the senior management team for the Foundation.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • To manage, plan and deliver all assigned youth engagement projects (*currently NCS) inclusive of recruitment and retention of young people across our community (or contracted area).
  • Increase awareness of NCS across our community through partnerships, events, marketing and promotion.
  • Manage all aspects of the youth engagement provision (*currently NCS) including all administrative, budgeting, staff management and monitoring processes.
  • To work closely with partnership organisations, including funding agencies, to maintain good relationships and collaborative working practices, and appropriate training for all staff. 
  • To oversee project budgets, ensuring spend is within budget while also working to identify new funding opportunities as required by the project to ensure ongoing activity.
  • To be accountable for and ensure that all staff and volunteers are suitably qualified, DBS checked and adhere to health and safety and safeguarding issues in line with the wider CD policy and procedures. 
  • To liaise with any appropriate contract managers and provide updates and reports as required.
  • To oversee the data management system for the NCS programme and ensure all data is inputted accurately and in a timely manner.
