Job Vacancy - Sports Lecturer

Club Doncaster Sports College are delighted to be recruiting for a Sports Lecturer and looking for a dedicated and innovative individual to join our passionate Sports College team. You will have a key role in the delivery of our award winning education provision and have a direct, positive impact on the lives of our Further Education learners.

Key skills and responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring all lessons, including the planning, preparation and assessment of, are delivered to the standard required by funding partners, internal and external verifiers and OFSTED.
  • Ensure that appropriate challenging student targets are effectively set and monitored.
  • Systematically improve the quality of learning activities, ensuring that they meet quality standards and result in improving student success rates.
  • Deliver and teach the Active IQ Level 2 and Level 3 programmes.
  • Provide regular feedback to learners through meetings, feedback sheets and reports.
  • Arrange training and matchday activity for the football and rugby academies.
  • Coach and lead other coaching staff.
  • To develop course materials, schemes of work, lesson plans etc. and make these available through the shared information system.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about education and the vocation of sport, with a proactive attitude, who is keen to stretch, challenge and go above and beyond to achieve results and contribute collaboratively.
