Foundation taking book bank donations in aid of World Book Day

Supporters of Doncaster Rovers, Doncaster RLFC, and Doncaster Rovers Belles are encouraged to head to donate children’s books which they no longer use to the Foundation, for distribution to young people across Doncaster and beyond on World Book Day.

Donated books must be of good quality (new, or nearly new) with no ripped pages or underlining or highlighting and should be suitable for children aged 3-11.

Books can be donated at the Keepmoat Stadium East Stand reception at the following times:

Monday February 24 – 8.30am-4.30pm
Tuesday February 25 – 8.30am-4.30pm
Wednesday February 26 – 8.30am-4.30pm
Thursday February 27 – 8.30am-4.30pm
Friday February 28 – 8.30am-4pm

Books can also be donated on the following Club Doncaster matchdays:

Wednesday February 19 at Oxford Street ahead of Belles vs Long Eaton United.

Saturday February 29 at Club Store ahead of Doncaster Rovers’ match vs Wycombe Wanderers.

Sunday March 1 at the Club Store ahead of the Dons’ match vs Barrow Raiders.

Supporters who are unable to make the trip to the Keepmoat Stadium within the above times can donate books at the Rovers140 pop-up hub during normal opening hours.

Book donations cannot be accepted at any of the above locations after March 1.

All donations will be gratefully received and distributed widely to support literacy and reading skills in Doncaster and beyond.
