Children from partner schools took the reins on a Doncaster RLFC match day at the weekend, as they relished in the annual Junior Takeover Day.
They took over all the roles needed for a smooth match day, including photographer, ticket office staff and even first team player and manager!
A full day of behind the scenes experience was topped off perfectly with a third win on the bounce for the Dons, who beat Oldham RLFC 26-22 at the Keepmoat Stadium.
CEO of the Dons, Carl Hall had his very own mini me on the day. He commented: "The children that enjoyed the day were an absolute credit to Club Doncaster Foundation and their parents, who also experienced the day.
"Every mentor commented how outstanding their child was and I was no different - Keelan, who was the CEO for the day did a fantastic job and I even found him discussing contracts with the players! He was a pleasure to mentor and I'm delighted with the outcome of the day."
Club Doncaster Foundation's Junior Takeover Day is an annual event which allows children from partner schools the chance to apply for match day roles and if chosen, have a complete behind the scenes match day experience and hands on work experience within Doncaster RLFC.
The same opportunity is available for Doncaster Rovers FC and with a number of roles around the stadium available, everyone's interests are highlighted in this once in a lifetime opportunity through the Club Doncaster Foundation schools package.
