Club Doncaster Titans founder Darren Warner makes guest appearance on Home Goals podcast to chat all things Titans

07 July 2020

Club Doncaster Titans founder Darren Warner made a special appearance on the Home Goals Podcast this week where he spoke to Foundation health and wellbeing officer Scott Copeland about the history and development of the club.

Darren founded Club Doncaster Titans in 2014 to not only accommodate his autistic son and his friends, but any player with a disability or mental health condition in the Doncaster area.

Since then, the Titans have gone from strength to strength, and now have four adult ability counts teams, three junior ability counts teams and two inclusive 11-a side-teams.

Darren and Scott were joined by NHS health and wellbeing facilitator Adam and participant Andrew, who’ve both experienced the benefits of the Titans sessions first-hand.

The Home Goals Podcast was launched last month as a way for people associated with the Foundation to tell their stories remotely during lockdown.

Previous episodes include the Story of Fit Rovers Ladies, mental health awareness and the three peaks challenge.
