Belles players Eva Madarang, Rachel Taylor, and Sophie Scargill - along with Belles management team - joined more than 30 Fit Rovers Ladies participants for an evening of walking football at the Club Doncaster Sports Park.
Fit Rovers Ladies launched in 2019 and has engaged around 200 participants so far. It begins with an eight week free programme which focuses on making healthy choices and provides an exercise classes from circuit training to boxercise and netball to dance.
One of the classes is a walking football session and, to make it even more special, the Fit Rovers Ladies were joined by the Belles team who captained the teams in a mini tournament and offered support and encouragement along the way.
Lauren Cuttell Club Doncaster Foundation health and wellbeing co-ordinator said: "It was great to have Belles manager Andy Butler, assistant manager Nick Buxton and three members of the Belles first team join us for our Fit Rovers Ladies' Walking Football session on Wednesday.
"It really gave the ladies on our course a boost to have players from the first team join them - all three of the players and the coaching staff were really enthusiastic and really encouraging.
"The ladies really enjoyed having the Belles along."
