Three new schools join up with Club Doncaster Foundation through Premier League Primary Stars programme

We are delighted to welcome Bawtry Mayflower Primary, Castle Hills Academy and Kirk Sandall Junior School to the Club Doncaster Foundation family as they begin their journey with us through the Premier League Primary Stars programme.

Premier League Primary Stars is a national initiative that uses the power of sport, and the appeal of the Premier League, to inspire children across key curriculum areas. Through engaging lessons, creative resources and high-quality delivery, the programme supports learning in subjects such as literacy, numeracy, PE and PSHE, helping pupils to build confidence, develop key life skills and thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

This block, our focus has been on literacy, and it has been fantastic to see pupils across our new partner schools showing such enthusiasm for reading, writing and storytelling. The programme has sparked curiosity, encouraged teamwork and helped pupils explore new ways to express themselves.

“It’s been fantastic to see how engaged and enthusiastic the children are, through the learning and topics we’ve being working on. 

“Their energy and willingness to learn has been brilliant, and we’re really looking forward to continuing this journey with them.”
