Rovers and Belles players to join Shaka Hislop for Show Racism the Red Card workshop on EFL Day of Action

13 April 2021

Rovers forward Fejiri Okenabirhie and Belles defender Charlotte Dinsdale will join former Premier League goalkeeper and Show Racism the Red Card founder Shaka Hislop for an anti-racism workshop on EFL Day of Action (April 14, 2021).

The online, virtual workshop will be hosted by Hislop - who launched the charity to help educate young people about racism - and will engage around 200 children from Club Doncaster Foundation partner primary schools.

“Our anti-racism work has never been more important”, explained SRtRC Chief Executive Ged Grebby.

“The Covid-19 pandemic has made our work more difficult, as with so many industries, but we’ve continued to work with football clubs to offer virtual workshops to schools.

“Fejiri has scored 12 goals this season so we’re delighted to have him join our President, Shaka Hislop and Charlotte for this event as we continue to educate the next generation about racism and all forms of discrimination.”

Wednesday, 14 April is the EFL Day of Action, an annual celebration that helps highlight the positive impacts that football clubs have on their communities.
