Restart Signs supporting the Foundation

Restart Signs have become the latest company to join the Foundation’s partner list for this year.

The Foundation at Club Doncaster are proud of the impact we’re able to have across our local community that last year saw us work with over eight thousand individuals, amassing over two hundred thousand participant visits across our provision.

None of this work would be possible without the support of our fantastic partners.

Restart Signs based in Armthorpe Doncaster is a family run business that delivers a wide variety of bespoke signs and graphics, designed and produced to each individual customers’ specification. This includes, wall, window and floor graphics, posters, site identification and directional signage, building signs, embroidered and printed clothing and everything in between.  

Karl Bowdrey director of Restart Signs said: “We are so proud to be able to support a charity that gives so much back our local community. There is so much more than people realise going on at The Foundation and we are so excited to keep learning about the projects they come up with and watching the Heath and Wellbeing departments continued growth.”

As a health and wellbeing programme partner, Restart support all of the Foundation’s provision across Doncaster where the charity work with a wide range of people, from many different communities and try and break down barriers which may prevent people getting healthier and more active.

Karl became aware of the work of the Foundation through his own involvement in the Fit Rovers programme.

He added: “Being relatively new to the Doncaster area, I was recommended to Fit Rovers and from the outset realised there is so much more about the programme than just fitness. The help, the advice, the support and the laughs that the staff and participants give you is brilliant. I would 100% recommended the programme to anyone considering it”

Lucy Nickson, chief executive of The Foundation said: “We’re delighted to be working with Restart to support us in our mission to improve the lives of people across Doncaster. Restart have chosen to support our health programmes and the fact that this partnership has started through Karl joining our men’s health programme is testament to the work we do in the local community.”
