Doncaster’s NCS programme will be special guests at Doncaster Rovers’ match vs Bolton Wanderers on February 11.
NCS graduates will be visible around the ground and flag bearing ahead of the match. You can also look out for special bespoke NCS t-shirts which will be worn by the players in the warm-up.
The NCS programme is run by Impact Doncaster and the Foundation in conjunction with the EFL Trust. The programmes are delivered through summer and autumn and are aimed at providing 16 and 17 year olds with new and exciting opportunities to learn life skills and mix with new people.
NCS have proved popular with Doncaster youngsters over the past years and have also seen a number of young Rovers Academy players joining in some of the courses.
Jan Budtz, head of Impact Youth and NCS, said: “We’re delighted to join up with the football club for what will be our sixth NCS matchday in as many years.
“The NCS programme is just one example of the many opportunities the Foundation offer to young people in the borough. We have seen over 3,500 young people take part since the project began in 2013 - with 700 embarking on their NCS journey during Summer 2020.
“I would highly recommend the programme to any 16/17 year old wanting to do something different in their six week holiday.”
The programme costs £50 with financial support available if required. Read more about our NCS programme here.
