Limited places available as staff and participants gear up for annual Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge

02 May 2024

The Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge is back once again and we’re delighted to be able to offer a number of limited places that are available for you to get involved in.

Taking place over the weekend of Friday 7th - Sunday 9th June, staff and participants from the Foundation and it’s projects, will be heading to the Yorkshire Dales to take on the gruelling challenge, completing the 24 mile round trip route, aiming to finish in under 12 hours, in aid of raising money to support the vital work that takes place across the city.

Once again, we are delighted to have the support from local Doncaster business, KAT Communications, who will be our headline sponsor for the event.

Speaking of getting involved, Anthony Temperton of KAT said: “The work Club Doncaster Foundation do in the local community cannot be overstated and that’s why we are supporting them again as they face the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.

“We are proud to have partnered with the Foundation over many years and we have seen how the programmes they deliver can have a life changing effect on it’s participants.

“We’re looking forward to seeing how they get on with the challenge.”

Maia Smith, who’s heading up the event, said: “The three peaks is one of our annual events where participants and staff from the Foundation have the opportunity to take on the challenge, while raising money to continue to support our projects.

“I’m really excited for another group of participants to take on the challenge this year!

“Each year, we try to increase the number of participants taking on the challenge, with some this year attending for the 3rd time in 3 years!”

To sign up to the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge, please complete the registration form here.

Please note, to confirm your place, a deposit of £30 must be paid and you must be prepared to raise a minimum of £250.
