Heart of Doncaster Awards return for 2026, celebrating those at the heart of our community

It’s fast approaching - our favourite time of year!

 

That’s right, this year’s Heart of Doncaster Awards are just around the corner, and we can’t wait.

 

This is our chance to celebrate and honour selfless local heroes making a real difference in our community and, as hosts of the event, we cannot tell you just how much we look forward to it every single year.

 

This year’s Heart of Doncaster event will take place on Friday 16 October here at Club Doncaster Sports Village.

 

We’re absolutely thrilled to announce Choose Kindness as our headline sponsor for the fourth year in a row. The ceremony will see award nominees, businesses, individuals, and Friends of the Foundation coming together for an evening of reflection and celebration of incredible people, partners and organisations from across the city.

 

Speaking of being named headline sponsor for the event, Arshad Khaliq, Chief Executives Directorate, said:

Excitement is building for this year's Heart of Doncaster Awards, with several businesses already enquiring about how they can get involved. If you haven’t spoken to us yet but are keen to be part of this prestigious occasion, there are a range of options for you, whether you’re a business, an individual, or just want to support us on the night.

• Option 1: A table of 10 at the event
• Option 2: An individual seat at the event
• Option 3: Donate a seat to one of our beneficiaries

 

All options include a 2-course meal and a welcome drink upon arrival.

 

The Foundation’s CEO, John Davis spoke of the upcoming event:
