Foundation health and wellbeing Officer Lauren Cuttell named Doncaster Business Hero at Doncaster Chamber Business Awards

15 March 2021

It was great news for the Foundation’s health and wellbeing officer Lauren Cuttell on Friday night as she won the coveted Doncaster Business Hero Award at the Doncaster Chamber awards ceremony.

Lauren was nominated for her commitment to keeping the Doncaster community fit and healthy with our Home Goals campaign.

“I really didn’t think I’d win it as there was some fantastic competition”, explained Lauren.

“The support from our participants has been absolutely amazing and we couldn’t have done it without them.

"The Home Goals project has been immensely popular since it was launched during the first lockdown last year. We’ve created a real community and it’s great to see people continue to take advantage of it.

“I’d like to thank everyone at Doncaster Chamber for the opportunity, it was a brilliant night.”

Home Goals is the Foundation’s pioneering fitness programme launched across Facebook and YouTube to help support our community through this challenging time.

The group contains a range of opportunities to connect and engage with the Doncaster community, and provides access to workouts, home exercises, fitness challenges and much, much more.
