Foundation gets on board with Wear Red Day

17 October 2019

'To all of you out there, this is the call to action. This is where we make a difference. All of us together. Join our team.'

Wear Red Day 2019 is coming - on October 18 the Foundation are supporting Show Racism the Red Card.

Club Doncaster Foundation, alongside other areas of the Club Doncaster Group, are showing their support of Wear Red Day on Friday October 18.

Show Racism the Red Card, the leading anti-racism educational charity in the UK, are continually devising ways of raising awareness of their work. The charity educates on average 50,000 young people at grass roots level every year with their anti-racism education workshops.

The Foundation itself works to deliver anti-racism education for young people & adults across all areas of work, inclusive of the work done with the EFL, Premier League, NHS and Department for Education.

The official poster from Show Racism the Red Card states: 'On the 18th of October this year, Wear Red. Wherever you are, Wear Red. Tell people that you will be Wearing Red. Tell them why. You’re supporting Show Racism the Red Card on Wear Red Day. Be an ambassador. Tell them to do the same. Wear Red.'

Throughout the day, the hashtag #WRD19 will be used across all Club Doncaster channels in order to support the charity in trying to achieve trending status on the day.

To get invovled, text ‘RED’ to 70470 to donate £1.

Make a stand and make a difference. Make it happen because you can.

This Day. As One. We Stand. United.
