The Foundation are supporting the Premier League's #GetInTouch campaign which encourages people to reach out to an older relative, friend or neighbour who may be isolated.
There are plenty of ways you can get in touch!
WRITE A LETTER
To help you get started with your letter writing, the Premier League have created free downloadable templates for you to use.
See: Primary Stars Connecting Generations templates
There are lots of ideas on what you may want to write about in your letter: your favourite football memories, how your family are doing, or what you've been up to at home.
If you cannot print these resources, don't worry. Simply grab some paper and a pen and get writing.
Please ensure that if you are posting a letter in a post box or through a neighbour's letterbox, you keep a safe distance and follow the current Government guidance.
MAKE A CALL
If you cannot go outside, why not call the person to whom you have written the letter and read it out loud to them?
Sharing a story will help to make a positive difference, for them and for you.
For families who want to branch out further in supporting help support elderly neighbours, why not join Doncaster Rugby League chief executive Carl Hall and volunteer for b:friend? Find out more here.
Everyone at the Foundation would love to see your work, so why not share them with us on our Twitter and Facebook pages?
