Vets from the Fit Rovers men’s and women’s programmes were dotted around the Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday to raise awareness of the eight-week health and wellbeing programme run by The Foundation.
They also did a bucket collection for the Foundation’s Healthy2020 campaign – the commitment to improve lives in Doncaster this year.
Fit Rovers has been the Foundation’s flagship programme for many years helping hundreds of men and women across Doncaster improve their health and lifestyle.
To mark a new decade, the EFL Trust have launched Fit Fans, a project which closely follows the Fit Rovers model and Foundation are now allowed to use that funding to allow the course to grow and improve.
Donations from fans on matchday are helping the Foundation to fund their work in a Healthy 2020. If you would like to donate to the Foundation to allow them to continue their great work in Doncaster borough and beyond, click here: www.justgiving.com/campaign/Healthy2020
