Doncaster Rovers Retford Supporters Club Branch recent donation will help support work of Club Doncaster Foundation

Club Doncaster Foundation were delighted to receive £500 from the Retford Supporters Branch at their recent annual general meeting. 

CEO, John Davis, was on hand to accept the cheque for the Foundation on the evening, presented by Supporters Branch member, Kitty Grocock. 

Speaking of the generous donation, he said: “A huge thank you to the Retford Supporters Branch for their continued support and generous donation of £500. Donations like these enable us to reduce waiting lists and support more people across Doncaster.

Every single donation makes a difference. Just £5 could fund a participants walk and talk session which tackles social isolation and Dementia, while £100 could fund two young people’s entire youth engagement experiences. 

Secretary of the Retford Branch, Paul Mayfield spoke of why they support the Foundation. “They do great work in the community. Any way that the supporters can help them, it’s fantastic. 

“The money we donate goes towards helping the Foundation to continue people within Doncaster and the surrounding areas.”
