We understand the frustrations that a further national lockdown brings; the uncertainties of finances, the difficulties of looking after children whilst trying to work from home and the mental health anxiety about the unknown.
To all of our partners, patrons, staff, participants, friends and families we urge you to follow the national advice. Over the next few days and weeks we will continue to update you with information and support that will still be available while following social distancing guidelines.
Although this is an uncertain time, we will remain here for you throughout and there will still be a number of programmes or activities you can get involved with. We will release further details over the coming days as we understand the needs of our schools and partners, but here’s a snapshot of opportunities for you in the initial period:
Club Doncaster Sports College - Our education provision continues through home learning – if you wish to find out more about our offer or how you can get involved in 2021-22, please contact email@example.com.
Rovers Cares – This programme becomes as important as ever so if you have someone who you’re worried about, or you want to connect with online activities or phone calls, please contact Lauren.Cuttell@clubdoncasterfoundation.co.uk.
Home Goals – This programme will continue and offer a plethora of live and pre-recorded sessions via our Facebook and YouTube channels. Participants will have access to a wide range of sessions including Chair Based and HIIT as well as offering a number of mindfulness and relaxation sessions. Home Goals will also continue to offer participants weekly and monthly challenges that may support those New Year Resolutions. For more information, visit the Facebook group or the YouTube channel.
NCS - Our team is working alongside their partners to identify the next steps for their projects in 2021.
Lastly, we were due to open our Community Gym this month which will now be rescheduled in alignment to the guidance, but if you would like to stay updated once we get notice of when we can open up safely, please enter your contact details, here.
We are devastated to have to pause some of our provision, but it is in the best interests of everyone and although these next few weeks will be challenging, it will pass and we will be able to be together again.
In the meanwhile, stay safe, look after yourselves and be sure to check in on others.
