Just in case you missed it! Tomorrow is our annual community day!
This Saturday, we will celebrate the life-changing work taking place across our community and the people at its heart.
Fans will have the opportunity to see first-hand the impact that Club Doncaster Foundation has within the local community and learn more about the vital health and wellbeing programmes we deliver.
As part of the celebration, there’s a variety of interactive activities/challenges, including go-karts, a climbing wall, archery, penalty shoot-outs and more.
In addition, there will be an interactive military obstacle course based around the stadium to get involved with, as well as professionals performing free health checks.
Our Sports College will also open its doors to give fans the opportunity to visit the college space and learn about the courses on offer for students interested in sports qualifications through college and university.
Make sure to pick up your community day stamp card and map, and receive a stamp at every station around the footprint of the stadium. The first 100 people to complete their card will receive a Club Doncaster Foundation t-shirt (these are able to be collected from the Club Doncaster Sports College station).
Be sure to arrive early, as all activities kick-off at 1pm. Please note, activities are subject to change.
At half time, we will also recognise one of the Foundation’s founding fathers, Eric Randerson, for his tremendous contribution to the Foundation over the past 37 years, following the announcement of the renaming of the Eco-Power Stadium’s family stand, to honour Eric and his legacy.
The main aim of Community Day is to raise awareness of the challenges faced by people in Doncaster and signpost the support available to the most vulnerable, while also generating essential funds.
With information points and opportunities to speak directly with staff and participants throughout the day, as well as chances to support and play your part in improving lives across Doncaster, this event is not to be missed.
You can get involved on the day by donating to the Foundation through scanning QR codes on the day, or donating by following the link: https://bit.ly/40eYyyu
We look forward to seeing you on Saturday.
