Club Doncaster Foundation secures HAF funding for summer holiday camps

We're delighted to announce that Club Doncaster Foundation has once again secured Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme funding from Doncaster Council to deliver an exciting programme of summer holiday camps for children and young people across the city.

The camps are designed to support children who are eligible for free school meals, providing them with opportunities to stay active, learn new skills and enjoy a healthy meal each day throughout the summer holidays.

This year's programme will be delivered across two venues, Mallard Primary Academy and Atlas Academy, offering accessible provision for families in local communities.

Participants can look forward to a wide range of sporting activities, alongside engaging workshops focused on important life skills including nutrition, resilience and leadership. In response to feedback from children and families who attended previous camps, the Foundation is also introducing a brand-new digital learning element this summer. Young people will have the opportunity to take part in workshops covering video editing and graphic design, helping them to develop creative and digital skills alongside their physical activity.

Mallard Primary Academy will be hosting its third HAF camp in partnership with the Foundation, following the success of previous programmes delivered over the last 12 months.

"The programme provides valuable opportunities for children to remain active, socialise with their peers and access enriching experiences throughout the school holidays. It continues to add significant value to our school community, and we are pleased to support its delivery once again this summer."
