CDSC graduation success

Club Doncaster Sports College hosted their 5th annual graduation and awards evening on Friday, to celebrate another year of success.

A mix of sports and academic awards were up for grabs on the night, as well as a two course meal looking out on to the Keepmoat turf and a photo booth to commemorate the occasion.  

The night celebrated the year 12, year 13 and higher education students, as well as the football and rugby academies, all whom have finished their studies and training for the academic year.

Principal, Adi Turnpenny commented: “It was fantastic to celebrate with all the students and mark their achievements in another successful year at Club Doncaster Sports College.

“Everyone enjoyed the evening and we are already looking forward to the next academic year.”

Thomas Stalton (football), Grace Dixon (girl’s football), Liam Norris (football team 2) and Ben Howe (rugby) mopped up in the sports awards, they were all awarded player of the year for their specific academies. 

In the academic presentation, Chloe Purcell was presented with year 13 student of the year, Memphis Jubb-Billis won the year 12 student of the year and Morgan Monaghan and Brandon Burke picked up accolades in the HN awards. 

During the evening, the students also showed their support for Doncaster’s Rugby League World Cup 2021 back the bid campaign, sporting the hashtag with pride.
