Club Doncaster have employed a football team of former students

11 former students from Club Doncaster Sports College are now in full time employment at Club Doncaster – enough workers to make a football team!

From full-time work to apprenticeships, each of the 11 employees have taken a different path in their career from coaching to finance but all progressed through the college.

Delighted with the close link the college has with the different departments at Club Doncaster, Principal, Adi Turnpenny commented:

“It’s brilliant to see our ex pupils thriving in the work place; each one has progressed from the classroom into full time work or an apprenticeship so it’s great to see their hard work paying off.”

He continued: “We pride ourselves on our students progressing into positive destinations – and to see them working alongside us now gives us real pride. ”

Now working as a NCS Coordinator, Danny Herring was one of the first to progress through the college along with Women and Girls Coordinator, Heather King.

Other staff that have enjoyed employment with Club Doncaster Foundation are Apprentice Coaches, Josh Bucknell, Josh Gelder, Ben Waters, Jordan Sheridan, Brad McFadden, Joe Firbank and Cycle to Health Apprentice Thomas Cooper.

Club Doncaster also employed Apprentices, Max Lucas obtaining his in Finance whilst Jamie Southern is now an Apprentice Groundsman.
