Bex back on England duty
Club Doncaster Sports College student, Bex Rayner has been called up to represent her country at the end of the month.
The young footballer has just returned from two international trips away with the England U19 side, impressing in Kazakhstan and Finland respectively.
Following those appearances, the year 13 BTEC student will now travel with the side to Portugal on January 15th, to compete in an U19 women’s tournament.
Delighted with her progression, tutor Emma Harrison said: “It’s fantastic to see Bex excelling in football, it’s a proud moment for us all and she really is flying the flag for Club Doncaster.
Hopefully it can inspire more girls to get involved with the ever-growing sport.”
Bex commented: “I’m really excited I have another opportunity to make people proud and go and have fun.”
“I feel like it’s something I have worked for all my life, it was always my goal to play for England and now all my hard work has paid off.”
All at Club Doncaster Foundation would like to wish Bex the best of luck in her tournament in Portugal.
